Step-by-Step Setup
Follow these steps to install and configure CasperVPN on your iPhone:
Download CasperVPN
Open the App Store, search for "CasperVPN" and tap Get. The app is free to download.
Create Your Account
Open CasperVPN, tap "Get Started" and create your account with email. You can also sign up in-app with Apple ID.
Allow VPN Configuration
When prompted, tap "Allow" to let CasperVPN add a VPN configuration. This is required by iOS to route your traffic securely.
Choose a Server
Browse the server list and select a location. For the fastest speed, use the "Recommended" server or choose one close to your physical location.
Tap Connect
Tap the large connect button. You'll see a VPN icon in your status bar when connected. Your traffic is now encrypted.
Choosing a Protocol
CasperVPN offers multiple protocols: WireGuard for maximum speed, IKEv2 for stability on cellular networks, and CasperCloak for quantum-resistant encryption and censorship bypass. Go to Settings > Protocol to switch.
Enabling Kill Switch
The kill switch blocks all internet traffic if your VPN connection drops unexpectedly. Go to Settings > Kill Switch and toggle it on. This ensures your real IP address is never exposed.
Always-On VPN
For maximum protection, enable Always-On VPN in Settings > General. CasperVPN will automatically reconnect whenever your device connects to the internet.
